A man who was fishing in the Kerawalapitiya canal was yesterday admitted to the Ragama Hospital with critical injuries when a large crocodile attacked him.One of his legs below the knee was snatched by the animal.The injured was 36-year-old Tuan Mohamed of Mattumagala, Ragama.Doctors said that the lower limb of the man would have to be replaced with an artificial limb.Pamunugama police is making arrangements to trap the crocodile.
