NCE on developing global market

The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) the only private Sector Chamber exclusively serving Exporters in Sri Lanka has made arrangements to conduct a workshop on how to develop new global markets and do business overseas. This Workshop would be immensely beneficial to Sri Lankan Exporters in the context of the current global economic and financial crisis. The Workshop would be held on Friday 31st July 2009 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.

This workshop will provide the management team and those responsible for developing new global markets with the right tools to understand and position themselves or their organizations to profit from the global marketplace in a time of global crisis.

The following topics will be addressed: Understanding the new global economy/global consumer and it’s implications for global marketers, how to increase your sales and profits through global marketing/repositioning in a time of economic crisis, the challenge of global marketing and competition - developing a total focus on global marketing, developing a global mindset and the right competencies in your organization, understanding other cultures – the key to global marketing success and doing business overseas, how one of the world’s best known brands entered a major global market – a video based discussion – what can local organizations learn? and developing a global marketing plan.

The facilitator of the Workshop will be Gerard D. Muttukumaru, Chairman, Center for Global Leadership INC (USA).
