Six thousand four hundred and seventy nine registered voters are eligible to cast their votes when the Bar Association of Sri Lanka holds elections tomorrow (16) with Solicitor General C. Rohan De Silva officiating as the Chief Returning Officer.

Polling will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tomorrow’s election is expected to be a battle between former BASLPresident Desmond Fernando, PC and the incumbent Ikram Mohammed PC.

The entry of former lecturer attached to Jaffna Bar R. S. S. Thangarajah into the fray did not matter much in the context, sources said.
