Eranga Ganegoda came up with an all-round
performance (109 and match bag of six wickets) as Vidyartha
College beat Royal College, Panadura by nine wickets in their
inter school match played at the Police grounds.
Vidyartha batting first made 323 runs for eight
wickets declared with Gangoda stroking a fine century.
Sandekelum Chandrasena too did well to score 60.
Royal College, Panadura who were 71 for 5 at the
end of the first day were bowled out for 137 with T. Ranganath
scoring 54. Forced to follow on Royalists were able to score
206.
Vidyartha reached the winning target for the
loss of single wicket.
